Lotawana Fire Protection District currently is responsible for fire protection, fire prevention, fire supression, medical assistance, water and ice rescue, motor vehicle accidents, and a variety of community needs in a 14 square mile area.  This service area includes the City of Lake Lotawana, Tarsney Lakes, Easley Estates and the surrounding residential and agricultural lands.

The Lotawana Fire Protection District is dedicated to safely protecting life and property. LFPD pursues this mission in cooperation with surrounding districts by providing fire prevention, fire suppression, emergency mecial services, rescue and citizen assistance.  LFPD is able to provide excellent protection through continuous training and education of the full and part-time personnel that serve the district.  The LFPD continues to effectively adapt to the ever-changing needs of the community they serve.
